Jobseekers (“Jobseekers”) using Jobjett agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. By registering on the Jobjett site, by submitting your Profile or any information through the use of this site, or by otherwise accessing this site, you understand and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

The Jobjett (“Jobjett”) web site is owned, managed and maintained by Jett Projects Pty Ltd (“Jett Projects”).

About the Jobjett site

Jobjett is a free site that acts as a venue for Jobseekers to post information about themselves by way of a profile (“Profile”). Potential employers may search the Jobjett database and view Profiles.

Jobjett does not provide professional advice for Jobseekers.

Jobjett may be used by either persons looking for employment opportunities, whether they are currently employed or not, as well as employers and/or recruiters seeking canditates for available or upcoming positions.

The web site allows Jobseekers to post information about themselves by way of a Profile. Profiles show a “snap shot” summary of the Jobseeker allowing the prospective employer to get an idea of the suitability of the Jobseeker. Jobjett does not check or warrant that the information provided in the profile is correct.

Members can list their Profiles and employers can search for employees and read the Profiles, which may exclude names, personal addresses and phone numbers. An employer can elect to contact a Jobseeker by email to introduce themselves and provide details of a position. The employer may request a copy of the Jobseeker’s CV, and jobseekers can at their own discretion reply to such requests. Jobseekers and employers initially communicate with each other via emails sent through Jobjett, however are then free to  elect to directly contact each other .

Profiles

By registering with Jobjett you are agreeing to have your Profile publicly displayed via the internet.

Profiles are created and uploaded by following the directions on the site.

If the Profile contains any information that is considered to be false, misleading, offensive or unlawful, it will not be displayed and will be removed from the system.

No personal details will be provided by Jobjett in the Profile unless you choose to include them by attaching your personal resume. Your identity will remain anonymous unless you otherwise choose to attach a resume.

Any resume that is posted is not amended or controlled by us and all information contained in the resume will be viewable to employers.

Your Profile will remain on our system until we are notified by you to remove it.

Warranty

Jobjett makes no warranty regarding any Profiles that are posted.

Jobjett does not represent or warrant the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of Profiles or responses from prospective employers, or any other users. Jobjett has no obligation to screen communications or information posted by users. Users must use caution in dealing with third parties and use common sense when using the site.

Users should note that there are risks in using a site such as Jobjett, as Jobjett cannot and does not confirm that each user is who they claim to be, whether a Jobseeker or prospective employer. The user assumes all risks associated with dealing with other users and will use common sense when using it.

Jobjett does not guarantee that a jobseeker will be able to find employment by using our site.

Changes to terms and conditions

Jobjett has the right, in its sole discretion, to change any part of these Terms and Conditions in whole or in part, at any time. Therefore any users should check these Terms and Conditions often to become aware of changes.

Site Access

Jobjett does not warrant that the site will operate error free or that the site and its server are free of computer viruses or other harmful mechanisms. The site is provided on an as is basis. Jobjett does not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted access to the site.

Indemnity

All users agree and understand that Jobjett shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits resulting from using this site.

All users agree to indemnify and keep Jobjett, Jett Projects, and its directors harmless from all damages and costs, including legal expenses resulting as a consequence of any user using or accessing this site, or an employer employing or engaging any person sourced through Jobjett, even if such damage or cost results from the willful misconduct or gross negligence of Jobjett, Jett Projects, or its directors.

Use of this site or any reliance on the information contained in this site is at the sole risk of the user. Jobjett makes no representation or warranty of any kind regarding the site and or its content.

Certain links on this Site may take you to other web sites. Jobjett provides these links as a convenience only and you visit such sites at your own risk.

Jobjett is not responsible for the contents of any such linked page or any other page not under its control. And makes no representation or warranty regarding any linked web sites

General

Jobseekers must not provide any information that is likely to be considered false, misleading, offensive or unlawful. Jobseekers must post information that is accurate, truthful, and honest.

Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of its registration information and password.

This site is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Users irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Queensland.

This agreement (as varied in accordance with its terms) forms the entire understanding of the parties and supercedes all previous agreements, understanding and representatives relating to its subject matter.
